Lovely and delicious (as usual). Four (veggie) dishes and bread were plenty for four of us - with leftovers.

Just had a marvelous Valentine's Day dinner experience at Haandi...and this is coming from someone who isn't a fan of Indian food!! My wife and I shared murgh saag, methi chooza and murgh vindaloo (all chicken dishes) and we were swooning! They spiced it just right...just a hint of heat, nothing overwhelming or off putting. The dishes were rich and delicious with wonderful tastes that defy words. The owner and staff were very nice, gracious, down to earth and always made sure we were happy. Service was impeccable and they humored us by taking a commemorative photo of our Valentine's Day dinner experience. Highly recommended!!

I love this place. They are consistently good. I have tried multiple vegetarian dishes here over the years and have never been disappointed. They also have a plethora of options for meat eaters - lamb, chicken, sea food etc. All entrees come with rice. They also have a decent alcohol selection. I enjoy the service, & the ambiance with classical Indian instrumentals.

This restaurant is our staple for Indian buffet. There is always a good selection to choose from. I always call ahead to ensure my favorites are on the buffet line that day. Favorite are samosa, naan, butter chicken, gosht masala, chicken tandoori, and aloo gobi masala. The restaurant is cozy and service is attentive. Cannot go wrong with the weekend buffet but make sure to call ahead and confirm the selections.

Let me start by saying that I had the worst day and the worst week... I gave up and decided I wasn't going to cook and ordered out food. Decided to try this Indian restaurant for the first time and the staff was very kind and recommended some of their best dishes. And the food....changed.....my....life...I could have this everyday for the rest of this week. My dinner turned my bad day into a good day at 8pm. So if you're having a bad day and don't have energy to cook Haandi Indian is where you start making it better. Ordered the Samundar Ki Begam (red) and Gosht Vindaloo (brown) and garlic naan.

Good: Great food, excellent service Bad: Expensive, small buffet Overall: Best Indian food I've ever had I should start by saying that I've just visited for the first time in 7 years. I moved away and worried that it wouldn't be as good as I remembered. Fortunately, I was wrong. It was amazing. The buffet is small as buffets go. There are approximately 6 dishes of meat oriented food. However, I found that the quality more than makes up for the quantity. The cost be a bit much. It cost about $30 for a buffet and a drink, but I was happy to pay as it has been years. I asked about the Buttered Chicken, which was labeled as Murgh Makhini. Apparently that is the Indian name. I was told they always use free tomatoes which may explain the superior flavor. Whatever the reason, Haandi is the best Indian food I've ever had.

Arguably the best Indian in falls church. Consistently delicious and well flavored. You do have to specify your spice level if you want anything more than mild but they will definitely spice it up when asked! Love the Lamb Rogan Josh, all of the paneer dishes we've tried, and the biriyani! Good samosas and great pakora!

Delighted to find that at noon on a workday, there was no real wait and my hot and delicious Channa Pindi was ready in 10 minutes. Friendly staff ensured my entree was vegan. Good amount of food for the price. It's take out for me today, but I can see dining in would be a lovely experience. Just look at this interior !! YES: Vegan friendly

Great food! The service is always amazing and the portions are perfect. Sometimes the timing of the food coming can take a moment, but it's worth it!
